When it rains it pours

We view rain as an inconvience, when it is fact a time of cleansing. Without water things won’t grow and eventually die.

When there is a down pour, things will get muddy and messsy; the wind picks up causing leaves to fall away and branches break too even from the strongest trees because of how weak they become,
perhaps they’ve become unfruitful.

The rain is very much needed and necessary it is the time for REstoring, REbuilding and of course REbirth.

The same goes comes to wanting more of God.

I have come to understand that it is okay, not to understand everything because He is indeed working it out for our good.

Don’t be distracted by the winds or worried when things fall away. Instead we should open and willing to recieve the cleansing the rain brings.

As sons and daughters our Faith should be driven by ACTS. Our Spirutual Baptism depends on it. We can’t survive off of a one time bathing or drinking (reading His word, and being obedient). It’s continual. Don’t be afraid to ask God to stir up the winds to that get the gift on the inside to move. Don’t be afraid that when it rains it pours. Yes, for good reason. He is growing you and strengthing for a beautiful harvest that is waiting. Thank God for all He is, all He has done, before the rainbow. Tell him to cleans you and creat a new thing in you, so He may be glorified!

Adoration I adore you God, no one else I desire more of you are Holy, Alpha and Omega. The begining and the end.

Confession- Forgive me Lord for the wrong I committed

Thanksgiving- Thank Him for all He is to you.

Supplication- let your request be known as long as it is in line with His perfect will for.your life.

The Journey in Transfiguration…still changing

It is the first day of Spring, the season is changing. However from where you stand it look like nothing has change. On the outside you still feel the breeze of the crisp cool air and the snow and ice still blanket the ground. If you walk into just the right spot you may catch a quick reminder Spring itself is actually near as the Sun at the right time bring warmth to your slightly chilled cheeks.

The Sun reminds us what is right around the corner. Soon what is on the outside will be transformed into something a new.

This transformation brings a smile on my face as I sit and wait in anticipation in what God is doing. This Journey of constant learning. I love all seasons, each one serves a unique purpose. Winters can be just as beautiful, the quietness and stillness symbolizes a time for preparation right before the Season of REBIRTH, RENEWING,AND OF COURSE THE RESURRECTION. Starting over a new person. If you are willing to allow the gift of the Holy Spirit to Correct and cover every part of you developing and changing you into His image, humbled from the place He brought you from. Hoping to be the light in at least one person in your meeting.

Today, I woke feeling slothful, seeking reassurance, I asked to God help me notice a sign, Spring is near. The Calender says Spring Begins today. I don’t see it and yet I don’t see it. As I left the house I felt the warmth from the Sun and then I witnessed how He REstored health back to my Uncle who has REturned to work after being out so long.

In spite of your circumstance, your surroundings, don’t be afraid to ask God your Father is it really almost time, because its hard to see, from where you stand. First we must give our will over to Him. The process can be long, each step is eventful and purposeful. Don’t get lost in your feelings that will cause you to miss out on the blessings. You won’t see a right away change. Every now and then the Holy Spirit will send a small rose in the corner where its seems like there shouldn’t be one, or the warmth touch of the Sun against your face.
The prefix “re” means to do something again and again. Spring doesn’t just happen once. Neither does the seasons. Spiritually we want Spring to come often which mean we will have to experience the FALLing away of somethings and the quietness the sleeping, the stillness so God can work you from within. He needs total surrendering. If you didn’t experience going in and through how would you know how to go beyond the veil in worship the kind of worship that keep your neighbors up all night from your praying and tears. Then…

We come to follow Christ, don’t be discouraged by what you see outwardly. Take time to notice what He is doing inwardly. Don’t overlook the lessons. From Season to Season..Glory to Glory…there is a Rebirth happening.

Lord, Remove the veil that will reveal who you say that I am.

2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Pens Vs. Pencils

I hear people profess their love for pencils rather than pens. Yes, I can understand why as they explain. You see with pencils; you can erase your mistakes and go on as if nothing ever happened.

However, pens require just a little more strength, study and being focus on the lessons from the past. The strength to continue to write a new story from a mistake, I much rather call “A writer’s prompt” that introduces an intriguing story to a life changing Testimony.

With a pen you run the risk of leaving a stain of truths from your past as you continue to write a new story from what you have left behind.

Spiritual Preparation: The Journey in Transfiguration

It is Lenten Season… It is a time for Renewal and Transformation

I hear people talk about all the things they were giving up. Me? I couldn’t think of anything; nothing came to mind was right. So, I decided to wait.

Yes, second day in I decided to wait; how can I take something so sacred and treat it as something as deciding what I am going to have for dinner…or not have. Or what movie to watch?

Romans 12:1 came to mind; the sacrifice pleasing to God is me a living a holy and acceptable life. Not conformed to the things of the world, every day I am living a according to his will for my life.

My relationship meant so much more than just placing something to the side for the 40 days or should I say 39, because I didn’t know what I was going to do until I it took to Him in prayer.

I thought it was going to be some big, answer, then He brought me what this journey was to be.  In Matthew 17; Jesus took Peter, John, and John high up on a mountain and they witnessed the transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ. From Moses, the Law the foundation, Elijah, the prophet who spoke of the things to come the process, to the fullness of God’s glory His Son Jesus.

I thought about it…. Yea, that’s it!!  My answer and why I just couldn’t think of anything.  This Lenten Season, is a time of reflection a journey into the next phase in my life.  I hope the same for you too. If you can’t think of anything, perhaps you are trying to control the outcome.

This 40 days; is continued important part of your journey. It is a reflection from where God has brought you from. The Process you are presently in; leading you to Christ being glorified in you! To get there, you must go higher, search more than normal, move beyond the safety of your surroundings. He wants to take you up; to show you all that He has for you. First you must lay down somethings and not to return after the 40 days are up.

Your gift will make room

The more you give of your talent and time and whole heartedly faithful, God who sees all and knows all will provide.

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
II Corinthians 9:7‭-‬8 NKJV

5 Steps to Total Recovery

It was truly a day that was purely uplifting, as  life can send you so many distractions, especially when you keep waiting on promises to be fulfilled. During service we had a great surprise from out Senior Mother who is 101 years young. She is normally confined to her bed day in and day out because the fear of moving her fragile body; however this woman who is a picture of Faith, Strength and Endurance and expression of Love to everyone she comes across, came to worship in the house of the Lord, and with unforgettable smile on her face.  The woman who cares for her spoke it for months, how one day she will be back inside the place she loves. That one day came. Sunday, July 3, 2016, it wasn’t just her prayers being answered but everyone who needed to be reminded God will. Mother’s presence was a witness to us this morning.

We say we are believers but yet we are so quick to give in after a week when we don’t see a change.

Dr. Wheeler, the Pastor of the church and once the small child Mother baby sat, delivered a phenomenal message today we must remain focus, even during the blessings, for it is not for our glory but God.

It is time for a Spiritual upgrade, because the greater the anointing the greater the attacks. The enemy only attack those who he is afraid of. If the enemy isn’t on your case, we must check our relationship our connection to the Father.

The message came from 1 Samuel 30:1-8; Total Recovery; Dr. Jeffery R. Wheeler told us that there are 5 steps we must adhere to.

1st step is Praise; no matter how bad it looks you still must have a praise. The foundation of your recovery is tied to your praise. Focus on the Promise of God and not the problem. Know how to strengthen yourself.

2nd step is Prayer; it is good to have at least one prayer partner that know how to get a prayer through. Be careful because the one you seek out may make you to feel worse; check your connection
3rd step is Pursue; whether or not your friends go with you. Jesus must be in your view at all times this is me totally, because I would be told to go somewhere and I want people to come with me, but God didn’t tell me and “the people”. There are somethings that is only between you and God. We have to stop taking the wrong people with us. Taking the wrong people along with us on our journey and they are not supposed to be there; we will find ourselves all tumbling right back downhill.

4th step is to Prevail; When God give you instructions we must follow it through. when you follow and trust in God, you will recover it all. God will lead you into the enemies’ camp. Stand firm on God’s word. When He bring you out, you will be better than when you went in.

5th step is Perpetuate; To be successful in your recovery, have to know who you are in God. Yes, I sin and made some mistakes, but I know whose I am and I will stand on the Word of God. You can go with confidence in the enemy camp to reclaim what the enemy thought he stolen, on a mission knowing that no weapon formed against you will never prosper. You see the enemy don’t have any real power to take anything from us; He is just holding it. When God restores it back to us He will give back with interest. God has you covered.

I want all my STUFF BACK. I declare WAR. I am getting mine back, what about you?

Desiring to be close

wp-1462578963996.jpgHave you ever been in the presence of someone and you can tell they have a true devotion to God. Their prayers are reaching the highest Heaven?

That was the disciples with Jesus. They saw that He undeniably had a relationship with the Father.

As Jesus finished praying, one of his disciples said, “Lord teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples (Luke 11:1).

There is something about the  communication takes place in that moment. Its a connection, between you and the Father, granted by the Authority of the Son.

There is an intimate transaction taking place between “Our Father, who are in heaven” until we seal it in “Jesus Name”.  It is that closeness we should want more of.

Oh How I desire more of Him like the dear pants for the brooks, so my soul for a deeper relationship with you, My God. (Paraphrase Psalms 42:1)

What is amazing is He desires the same; He desires the same intimacy with me. The same closeness.

So many of us miss Him like Thomas and Philip, living this life and not able to recognize His presence, or how to get to Him. (John 14:5-9).

I want to be obedient to the Holy Spirit, as He abides in me; keep His Command to love Him and love others.

I desire closeness so that His Will may be done in my life;because of what He has done for me. I want people to know He can do the same for them. My prayer is to be able to please Him and give back what He has given me ♡
